Ahoy, mate! There be Pirates!!!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Fun game with a beautiful map, nicely detailed plastic ship minis, and easy rules... but don’t let the easy rules fool you... there’s strategy in placing your Pirates, moving your ships, what part of the map you navigate, what ports you put into, what merchant ships you attack, and where you trade your cargo. There’s a lot of game here for up to six players!

To win or get rich

I like a lot of things about this game. It is well themed. It has two basic goals that compete with each other (speed vs. loot). The art could be more diverse by adding uniqueness. I seem to like this game better than most of my family.
