cosmic information
galactic era a 4× game, puts you in the seat of cosmic conflict with many races to choose from.i believe this game will help souls come to the realization of the real history of space not revealed in our school system.it can help spark memories of the different races in our own cosmic history.it plays solo in about 2 to 3 hours.

Good Vs Evil
I doubt this will replace Twilight Imperium for fans, but it may be a good option for fans of 4x space games who are intimidated by TI's notorious complexity and game length. Galactic Era's main gimmick is the alignment system. STO (good) civilizations gain greater potential population growth but have restrictions on the planets they can colonize and their ability to declare war. STS (evil) civilizations have few restrictions on their ability to colonize and wage war but tend to gain less population overall per planet. The game progresses through three eras of galactic development over eight rounds, an era of darkness (which lasts four rounds) bookended by two eras of light (two rounds each). Each era grants bonus points for alignment and certain activities. The eras of light grant bonus points to STO civilizations and for certain research and growth actions. The era of darkness favors STS civilizations and warfare amongst the star people. I feel that the price point is a bit much, but this game gives you 17 civilizations to play with, it supports up to six players, and the layout of the double-sided sector boards helps change up every game. In addition, the game allows for quite a bit of strategic experimentation.
