Polyurethane varnishes offer great resistance to handling, can applied by brush or with the use of an airbrush and dry very fast. They are used as a final protective coat and can be mixed with the colors to modify their gloss characteristics.

Don't like these for minis
Just like the Matt I tried.... Features / Don't likes 1) Smell 2) thinness requiring multiple coats (could be a con for more control) 3) (2-3 coats is nominally stronger than one coat of the traditional acrylic compatible varnishes from the big companies... in my mild impact testing...)

Good solid varnish.
This varnish worked out great for finishing my painted miniatures. Thumps up.

Spray on varnish would probably be better
