Hard to Learn
I have become a fan of Tiny Epics over the last months, and I'm building my collection to play them with my family. This one was the very first one I played. I should have learned it while watching How to Play. But it's tiny and it's epic. Lot's of components and instructions crammed into a tiny box. The game play is around 45-60 minutes. There's A LOT to do here. A lot of actions. A lot of opportunity, and a lot to understand. Once I get the hang of it on my 2nd time playing it I'm sure it will come out many times for rounds of playing with the family. These games are what they are: Tiny boxes with EPIC game play inside of them. I do like the fact that you make your map using these great component quality cards. The ITEMeeples are fantastic. I did NOT like the weapons's holder, it's stupid. I almost broke one trying to push it in, so I decided not worth the effort to punch in those holes. Lot's of steps and instructions so start with patience. CAUTION: THIS IS NOT REALLY A TRAVEL GAME, you need a lot of table space so don't plan to play it in a flight.
