In this classic game, two opponents face off across a Battle Line and attempt to win the battle by taking control of a 5 of 9 battlefields or 3 adjacent battlefields. Battlefields are won by the strongest 3-card formations on either side of the Battle Line.
Based on Reiner Knizia's original design published in Germany as Shotten-Totten, Battle Line enhances and expands that game system to give players even more tactical options and gut-wrenching decisions.
This is a special Medieval-themed Edition with art by Roland's Revenge.
