Sub-Terra is the strange realm deep beneath the surface of Earth-Prime, where hte Serpent People and Morlocks engaged in a long and brutal war. It is a place of monsters, myths, and menaces spawned from both science and sorcery.
Many years ago, Jerris Trent, now known as the Terra-King, discovered this strange realm. The servile creatures fixated on Trent as their new master and he established his own underground empire. Using the ancient, abandoned science of the Serpent People and his legions of Sub-Terran minions, the Terra-King has made several attempts to conquer parts of the surface world. Heroes who delve into Sub-Terra are in for many surprises!

Necessary Variety
It's easy to cycle through environment decks quickly, and with 4 in the box, repetition was frequent. It was almost necessary to include a 5th environment to promote replayability, and Sub-Terra adds necessary variety, though no particular mechanics stick out.
