Zombie themed hack and slash style dungeon crawler
Zombicide Black Plague is a fantasy-themed zombie survival game that pits a team of survivors against hordes of various zombies as they try to complete objectives to survive. The game can be fun to play solo or in a group of players. Each game typically involves scavenging for loot while trying to fight your way past waves of zombies to complete a series of objectives. I find the tactical gameplay to be often enjoyable as I try to solve the puzzle of how to get out of whatever bad situation has come up from turn to turn. The game is fairly simple to learn and many missions can be played in around 45min to 2hrs depending on how things go.

Definitely add this to your collection!
If you like Zombicide, you will absolutely love this version! Black Plague is more centered on combat than the original version, but don't worry; stealth, tactics, and cooperation still play vital roles in this game. You WILL NOT be disappointed! Happy gaming!

Fun beer and pretzels game
It is a nice game if you want something a bit lighter. It is hard to 6 hand solo it but doable.

Pretty fun game that's not too complex
Playing a game with this many figures is pretty nice and while it's not too complex that there's not a deep strategy to it, it's a pretty fun game to kill a ton of zombies and roll a lot of dice

Black Plague
I haven't played the Zombicide board game, so I can't speak to that, but it looks fun. I bought this, as well as a slew of others, for the detailed miniatures which are fun to paint. Great detail, great quality, and relatively cheap for the miniatures if you're like me and want to get it just for those.

Best version of Zombicide
After watching countless reviews on each version of Zombicide I took the dive on this set and I couldn't be happier, after bringing this out to the gametable we couldn't stop playing it. We played this at each player count from 3-7, and in our first week of owning we played nearly a dozen times. It's simple enough once you have someone who knows all the rules and streamlines the zombie phase, other players will pick up very quickly once they see a full round.

Brutally challenging, but worth every penny
I've played through the tutorial and managed to beat the first couple quests after a number of attempts on my own. I'm still yet to beat the third quest on my own. I managed to play the tutorial with some friends and we managed to beat the tutorial on the second attempt (we were playing with fewer than the recommended 4 characters, but we're all experienced gamers). The only downside, in my opinion, is that the spawn cards and item deck can have a major impact on your game, to the point that sometimes you will realize early on that you might as well reset and try again (it's still pretty fun to see how far you can get, though). Sometimes it will drop a ton of brutes into the map while you're still searching for something to kill them with, and heaven help you if the abomination shows up right away. None of it is necessarily unfair, but sometimes the better gear for brute and abomination slaying and dealing with crowds ends up close to the bottom of the deck. Also, I'm pretty sure the dice that came with the game are cursed. Overall, if you like medieval fantasy and zombies this is worth checking out.

Easy Sell to a Zombicide Fan
I was sold as soon as I saw Zombicide had a fantasy setting. The minis are great and the gameplay, while a little complicated, is still a ton of fun. I now have the original game, Black Plague, Green Horde, Dark Side and Invader: Spec Ops. Looking to pick up Invader and then start working on the new Zombicide: Undead or Alive once it is available at retail. Plus, the Marvel Zombies (Zombicide) looks to be another epic hit for the franchise.
