For those of us who have been around since the 90s, Citadel minis have gotten more detailed and easier to put together than ever before. Since those days the sculptors seem like they have truly mastered either concealing or strategically placing the mold lines, which is really nice. Saves some work.
The downside is of course cost as always, citadel are premium priced models. And they can no longer be remixed and posed as it was in the 90s and early 2000s. They say "the poses are more dynamic" these days but I find that's true of space marines only and basically nothing else has changed, except our ability to move things around. The reason being that they are shaped such that the pieces only go together one very specific way these days.

Just one of the best mini sculpts out there. It's dynamic, gross and pointy. What else could you want?
