Similo: Animals

Similo is such a simple concept, but not so simple to win. This is an outstanding game for getting kids to put themselves in someone else's shoes when they are giving clues and practice deduction when guessing. The art on the cards is beautiful and all the animals have a lot of personality which adds to the fun of the game. We always play more than one round.

We love Similo and this is another great deck to add to the our selection. The animals give a little different twist especially when mixed with the fables, or history deck. Trying to decipher clues between an animal and a humans adds a whole different layer of complexity and fun to the game. Component quality is very good and the artwork is wonderful as always, making this a great stand alone deck or addition to your current deck.

This game is so fun! The pictures are amazing and it really gets you thinking about trying to trick your friends. This would be a great game for people who like puzzles and who like to persuade people to agree with them!

A bit of reminding of Dixit. But in very easy to explain and really easy to play. You don't have to be an experience game player to play this one Art is fabulous! bravo TO THE ARTIST!

Similo has great artwork! One person uses the cards to draw a target animal. Then mixes the target up with 11 others to make a 12 card display. The person who knows the target draws 5 cards, and from those 5 selects one to lay face down either horizontally or vertically. Horizontal means the card laid down is NOT like the target, and Vertical means the card IS SIMILAR to the target card. (ie a flamingo IS similar to a lion because they both originate from Africa...or a flamingo is NOT similar to a lion because it's a bird) the more cards played narrow down the options of which card the target could be.

I’m a big fan of Similo. It is a quick and fun cooperative deduction game. Animals is a great addition to the lineup. It adds a different dimension to how you think about the similarities between the cards. There is no gender or other dichotomous category that each animal easily falls into so your brain has to expand just a little more than most of the other sets.

Similo is a quick, fun card game. Rule out all cards except the target card by placing cards vertically or horizontally. Vertical the target card has something in common with the played card. Horizontal is showing there’s something not the same.

Similio has become a household stable for a fun, quick co-op game. We never play just one game. Was super excited to add this into our Similio collection. Love the artwork and variety!! Highly recommend it!
