Great setting agnostic options for 5E!

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This is a breath of fresh air for players and DMs alike. There are 365 new magic items and most are very good. A couple of examples include the Arcanist's Bowstaff which can be used as a staff or as a longbow that produces magical arrows and the Shear Cold battle axe which causes cold damage instead of slashing. Also, the Griffon's Saddlebag which is a quest-giving artifact. The new subclasses are a mixed bag for me. One of the best tanks is the Path of the Glacier Barbarian with the ability to rime themselves with a thin layer of temporary hitpoint giving ice. The Coutal Herald Fighter is a bit of a miss with some interesting but not-for-me abilities. Lastly, the Runetagger Rouge is fun if not a bit underpowered in some situations. One of my players who paints for a living absolutely loves it. For the DM are three new settings to plug into your campaigns. Of them, I am using lost and being resettled city of Hearth the most. It is well flushed out with interesting NPCs, creatures and a ton of plot hooks.

Great book. Tons of different magic items for your 5e campaign. The extra character options and locations are a cool bonus. Everything is organized and presented very well.
