In the late Republican period of Rome, you are the leader of a faction using your wealth to buy support in the Senate. Rome is constantly in conflict and the wars will increase until the Senate centralizes authority and appoints a single leader as Caesar. That is your goal.Senators is a simple-to-learn, but hard-to-master game of bidding and player interaction. Decisions are both tactical (how to value your bids given your relative position) and strategic (choosing how long to collect resources before cashing and buying influence).
Every game has a different series of events, multiple bidding mechanics, and of course different player strategies. How you navigate these interesting times will determine if you can become the next Caesar.
