You are farmers raising sheep, pigs, cows, and horses. Three workers help you keep the animals on your farm. Each round, you take turns placing your workers on action spaces to enclose pastures, build stalls and stables, and upgrade your farm. The winner is the player who raised the most animals and build the most valuable buildings.
This new Big Box edition is a revised version containing the original base game and its two expansions. Apart from the shaped animals, this edition now also includes shaped resource tokens and workers!

Pleasantly Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised at how well I enjoyed this game. I am a big fan of Agricola and worries the 2-player variant would be a let down, but it wasn’t. The decisions were just crunchy enough to appeal to the Agricola lover but ligh enough of a game that my non-gamer wife greatly enjoyed it. Easy to teach and best part plays in less than an hour.
