28mm Scale

The Halflings have split from the League of Rhordia . While relations have been rebuilt, the Shirefolk are now responsible for their own defence and have organised their army under the expert eye of Aeron Cadwallader, their greatest modern hero. Combining their engineering talents with their skills in archery and poaching, the trained bands of professional soldiers and their support units pose an unexpected and formidable barrier to any who threaten the peace of the Shires.

Well made halflings

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Mantic's models have certainly gotten better over these years, and these halflings have to be among the finest made so far. The plastic models are well chiseled and customizeable. The resin kits are detailed, though there is cleanup involved. My main gripe with these models is that the halflings are much much larger than halflings from other range, a good twice the size of Nolzur's D&D halflings. Be aware of that.

Kings of War: Halfling Army

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

The hard plastic sprue for the Halflings are really well made and thought out. A single sprue allows you to make 4 different unit types, spearmen, swords men, rifles, and cavalry. With a few of the resin upgrade kits from Mantic Games, it can be very easy to have a diverse army. Would highly recommend.
