Lots of Value and a Perfect Starter
Mantic is pretty widely renowned for their starter sets, and you can't go wrong here either. Getting the start of two armies is fantastic and the savings for models + the core rulebook is phenomenal (which, in Mantic tradition, details ALL factions in their game; no waiting months for a codex here). I picked this up because I wanted Empire of Dust, but now I have Ogres for either a friend or my wife to learn the game too. If either of these armies interest you, this is the way to go. My only gripe is that I wish they had included bases for multi-basing in case that's how you wanted to run it, but I use these minis in other miniature-agnostic games as well, so it's not a big enough complaint to warrant a lower score.

Stunning Detail on the New Mantic Plastics
Mantic have really upped their game with these new kits that refresh some of their older ranges. The box contains 4 sprues of ogres with lots of assembly options. The new hard plastic ogre sculpts are excellent. There are 2 regiments (total 40 minis) of Egyptian undead infantry and 1 regiment (10 minis) of Egyptian undead cavalry. The detail is great whether you want to do a quick paint job with speed paints or take your time. Each army has a hero and the new rule book is included. Great value for money.

Great starter product, or for someone wanting to start another army or two to get the new book. Great models/sprues. The ogres are really fun to put together with lots of options. The new Empire of Dust models are really great too.
