Perfect for the What the heck is that? encounter.
Great sculpt and well painted. Each of the appendages? is distinctly horrifying. Can't wait to spring this on my players.

Base size: Large Model height: ~3.6 inches Sculpt: Tons of creepy/weird little details on it Paint: Nice variety of colors and shading This mini is WAY bigger than I first imagined, but I absolutely love it. This is an extremely weird and creepy mini. When you put it down on the table your players will definitely be like, WTF! It's very memorable.

Excellent Cthulhu figure
When Mr. Lovecraft created the Cthulhu mythos in 1926 he gave some very detailed descriptions of the creatures lurking beyond the dreams of men. As a GM for several horror based games, i find it difficult to put good Cthonian miniatures on the table. Enter the Yithian. The Yith were a race of time traveling precogs who would learn about the cosmos by switching their minds with other beings, especially humans. These powerful beings can present a unique challenge to any investigating PCs, and this imposing miniature can set the tone for that encounter as soon as it is on the table. The miniature is very faithful to Lovecraft's description. It is very sturdy albeit a little top-heavy. It is several centimeters tall making it very imposing next to average sized miniatures. It is extremely alien and could easily be adapted to a non-Lovecraft story such as a scifi alien encounter or a fantasy demon. The price is reasonable too for such a large figure. Fhtaghn!
