What It Says On The Tin
Yep. It's a big lizard, all right. Monitor lizards are good low-level encounters in many an adventure, and I, for one, am not all that interested in an intensive level of detail. This is the kind of miniature that works in a booster box format, because you don't really mind getting multiples--it's doubtful that your players are going to particularly care about the lack of variety in lizard representations.

This monitor lizard is a little bit bigger than a regular medium wolf miniature. It's a little taller at the head and longer overall. The open mouth with the tongue sticking out is a nice detail.

Great Sculpt, Odd Coloring Choice
The sculpt is excellent. The beast looks battle-ready with its musculature and its lashing tongue means its ready to taste fresh meat if given the opportunity. I only question the color choice of bright purple as opposed to a more earthen or green tone, but the bright color does ensure it pops against terrain - though that isn't exactly something a predatory lizard would want.

Giant Lizard
Not many options for giant lizards but the Monitor Lizard is the right size if you're okay with the color scheme. Although it comes on a medium-sized base, it is long enough to represent a large beast.
