Great for a Boss fight
The detail on this troll leader is fantastic. Every piece of armor is finely painted, and the lolling tongue is hideous. Thanks WOTC!

Larger than they appear!
They were larger than I expected but that wasn't a bad thing! They come as large-sized baddies for d&d taking up 4 squares on a map so just be aware of that! Makes sense for being trolls!

Quality Troll
The attention to detail on this mini is superb. Colorful and full of interesting details. I’m not going out on a limb to suggest this could also make for a swol orc, green ogre or large lizard folk . Lots of possibilities.

I love me some big daddy troll! Great paint job, great size and great detail on this mini. I personally am not a fan of the skinny look to the dnd trolls, so I think it's great that the troll leader delineates from that.

Carlton Sales
For a large mini this guy is Big. His head reachs around 75mm, and his raised club reaches around 105mm making him dwarf nearly all my other large minis. The whole style of the figure really makes him stand out from just some typical troll and makes me want to see more armored troll minis. The minus was his not so great paint job that is more easily noticeable due to his sheer size along with some clear mold lines, but unless your studying him up close he just looks like a messy battle ready troll. If there was a 4.5 score I'd maybe give him due to paint but overall I think he deserves five stars for a prepainted mini, especially at four bucks.
