Long Shot: The Dice Game

My wife and I tried out long shot after purchasing it in preparation for the Kentucky Derby and several horse racing friends. The game was easy to set up as and the mechanisms were pretty simple and straight forward. The exciting part is that while you can use strategy, your luck may change in a roll, leaving chance to decide the winner almost every time. We really enjoy this game and look forward to sharing it with our friends and family.

This roll and write packs the fun we look for managing bets and other investments as the race goes on, being influence the race in some ways to push your horses forward or backwards.

This is a no brainer if you have multiple people who just want to have some fun. Decent decision space for a gambling game, but not overly thinking. Gives you more of the thrill of a scratch of lottery ticket with added tactical decisions than a horse race. Highly recommended!

I’d read a lot of good reviews about this game. I’m surprised about its simplicity but addictive gameplay. It is a must for those who love party games.

Always a fun game to get out for new or experienced players. Everyone starts rooting for certain horses and works to get their horse to win. Mostly the luck of the dice but there are ways to change the luck in your favor at times. Overall, fun and moderately light game!

Long Shot: The Dice Game has received quite a bit of praise ... and rightfully so. My family of 5 played the game (ages 17-47) and it was beloved by all ... including the non-gamers.
