Great Game
The mix of deck building and resource management is done well. Game is easy to lean and the size of your faction deck and common deck make replay not repetitive, at least not yet.

Good game
I enjoyed playing this game. The solo option had a confusing rule, but in normal play it was great. I was in Slovakia and some friends kept wanting to play it and we had a blast again and again.

Imperial Settlers is an Imperial success!
I bought this game because I was looking for a good worker placement engine builder and had heard good things. I was not disappointed at all. I liked it so much, I since purchased the "Why can't we be friends" expansion and even took the leap and bought my first board game box insert. This is a great game and can't wait to get my hand son the Atlantiens expansion.

A Great Engine Building Game
This is a great game. Everybody takes control of a unique Civilization which plays differently than all the others. You draw cards from a common deck or from your persona; Civ deck. These cards can be used in several different ways. You can use them to build a new location in your civilization, you can use them to make a quick deal, costing less than building but netting you fewer resources in return, or you can destroy the card, removing it from the game, for some quick resources that you might need. You'll send workers to locations you've built to produce resources, use those resources to build more locations or to get victory points, and occasionally attack your opponents civilization, destroying some of their locations.

This game plays well with 2, 3 or 4 players and offers a ton of replay-ability.

Great solo and two player game
I really like this game. The replayability with the different factions is just addictively fun. Unfortunately, the game has a few flaws though, the text on the cards is horribly small and does affect gameplay as a result and the game goes too long for what it is with more than two players. Despite these flaws, I still love this game. Not to mention the solo gameplay is also really good.

Fun civilization building game
This is card game based on building up a civilization and production/ point engine. Each faction has a faction deck of cards specific to their strategy/ flavor. There is also a common deck of cards that anyone can select from. I really enjoy building up the production engine in this game. The randomness of the draw tends to select the strategy for you rather than you selecting a strategy and pulling cards to go for it ( I think).
There is the potential for good player interaction but it the strategies and systems are complex enough that it can be a little tough to see what other players are going for until they start unleashing it on you.
The game works surprisingly well with 2 players and is equally fun with 3, but seems to get a bit long with 4.

Card/Civ building game
This is a great game where you will be building out your civilization using common cards and cards specific to one of four factions (Romans, Barbarians, Egyptians, or Japanese).

As you build out your civilization you will gain more production resources or gain special abilities through "Features" and "Action" cards. The goal of the game is to acquire the most victory points after 5 rounds.

This is a game that is fun to play but may take a couple plays to understand how to get the victory point engine going. Each faction does play differently so it pays off to play the same faction a couple times.

Game also offers solo option in the rule book.
