2107 AD: Human Colonists on Procyon III have unearthed an ancient alien artefact. Aethyn forces attack the settlement's defences, trying to stop the ancient terror that the humans may have unwittingly awakened. Battle soon wages in the orbital space of the planet as the U.N. sends its armada to relive the colony, while scientists work to decipher the alien communications and understand their newfound enemy. . .
In this smart sci-fi struggle, one to four players take control of unique factions as part of a team-based conflict. The card-driven battle wages over two boards using 120 amazing miniatures, with humans defending against invading aliens on the surface and orbital space of Procyon III.
Played competitively or cooperatively, the highly asymmetric gameplay with low randomness involves four different card-based strategy games interacting with each other and continues until one side has achieved victory in this previously insignificant corner of the galaxy.

Excellent asymmetric game!
Another excellently balanced asymmetric game from David Turczi. All 4 factions play very differently from one another, but each fits together into the larger game perfectly. The minis are a good quality, with decent detail. The game also includes a solo mode that provides a fun, tense experience where you play as the two human factions against the 2 alien factions controlled by AI cards for each. There are 5 instruction books, which sounds intimidating, but once you start playing it all fits together and becomes simple to run after a couple of turns. Each manual focuses on one faction, and includes a round/action overview on the back that faction. The fifth covers setup and how to run a solo game. Very fun, highly recommended!
