Pathfinder 2E RPG: Book of the Dead

Be honest both as players and GMs, the undead seem to have all the answers. They can swarm the enemy with fodder no one will miss, and they remove the risk of death for every adventurer. I particularly love the rules for playing a skeleton composed of bones from whatever you kill along the way. A great option for anyone who want an undead focus.

Enjoying this one so far, has a lot of great character options as well as an immense amount of lore and even some adventures. I hope Paizo keeps up this format in the future and puts even more value into these sourcebooks.

I really like how this supplement covers so much ground in such a balanced way. Great detail on lore and background with the undead to understand the mindset and motivations, a wide variety of unusual undead from many cultures and tropes that you can pick and choose from if you find a favorite, and even some nice discussions about the undead in various areas of Golarian that makes me want to dive even further into the lore of those areas. Highly recommended.

Wow, I was interested in this one when it was announced but didn't expect it to knock things out of the park like it did. Excellent sourcebook for any fantasy RPG, just for the lore alone. However, the options provided for Pathfinder 2E remain very solid and very well balanced. I love the Skeleton Ancestry option, and even the other undead archetypes are very well done. It's been fun to see how flexible the 2E system is, and I look forward to seeing where they go next. Aside from the Lord and the Player's Options, there's a sizeable section for new monsters (all undead), and it not only brings in some old favorites missing from the existing Bestiaries, it does introduce a number of new and very flavorable monsters. This is the kind of book that makes you want to find ways of introducing the new options and monsters into your existing game...even if they wouldn't have normally fit. Great book.

I love the all of the new character options, and my group that I play with is excited to try out the new dedications.
