This is a great light strategy game for 2 players with a WW2 theme. I really like the card-driven system here, which restricts your choices each turn and forces you to plan with limited resources. This can of course be frustrating at times, but you learn to optimize what you have, and importantly, it helps the game move along and avoid analysis paralysis.

You can watch some truly epic battles unfold, including the Normandy beach landings and other famous battles. You definitely feel like you are coordinating your troops at the strategic level rather than a tactical squad-on-squad level. It's a lot of fun with a lot of dice, and this is a game I never turn down to play. Highly recommended!
