This game has been a huge hit with everyone we've played it with. It seems a bit complex to many people at first blush, but there are cheat sheets included with the basic turn flow, play process, and racial and power rules. Folks that had never played were usually pretty well versed by the end of the first play through.

I will likely be buying up the various expansions and Underground as well. We even had a friend that usually doesn't like board games much ask us to bring it around again! The variety of combinations enhances replayability and the colorful pieces add to the entertainment value. If you give this one a shot you aren't likely to regret it.
