D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W1 Spiders

Product Review (submitted on June 15, 2020):
Product contains (3) primed PVC spiders each in a unique pose,
(2) PVC textured base accents
(3) thin black hard plastic bases.

My expectations going in, these are critters/minions. I expect them to be cheap and easy to paint with minimum prep.

+Pros,
great sculpts in unique dynamic poses.
Pre-primed and single piece, I get to skip the assembly/priming steps
fast to paint, looks great with only dry-brushing and washes

+Cons
Flashing is petty bad and took some time to remove
game-play (can be hard to handle)
PVC is a flexible material, the spider legs bend so its a little tricky to pick them up
Bases are thinner than 1mm and are no help handling the model.
Some poses have as few as four legs in contact with the ground.

General Thoughts,

This product did everything I was expecting of it, dirt cheap easily assembled and painted. I picked up two blister packs and had no issue batch painting. I also had none of the issues with attaching the legs to the supplied bases. I used a textured roller to give a cobbled stone texture out of milliput and used a high quality super glue to attach (loctite) as super glue is the default glue for PVC figures. Neither pack had the detail level of the CGI image. Most notably is the hair on the legs (present only in the joints on mine). Over all they have plenty of detail highlight.
