Bargain Quest is a drafting game for 2-6 players. You and your friends will take the role of competing shopkeepers in a fantasy town plagued by monsters. Stock your shelves by drafting item cards and arrange your displays to attract heroes to your shop!
Equip your heroes to face off against the monsters. If they succeed, fantastic! If they get eaten alive, well...At least they can't ask for a refund.

COMPLETE FUN
BOY AND I HAD A GREAT LAUGH PLAYING THIS GAME. WE LOVE GLADIUS FROM DEEP WATER GAMES. THIS IS A LONGER AND MORE WEIGHTY GAME. JUST A FUN. I WOULD LOOK TO BUY GLADIUS AND BARGAIN QUEST!

What a bargain
It's kind of a reverse Boss Monster. You are competing to attract adventurers to your store to sell them gear so they can at least either survive or wound the monster. Between drafting your inventory and competing to attract heroes the strategy is decently deep. Plus, as the game goes on, you can upgrade your shop and hire employees to gain an edge over your competitors. The Monsters also each have unique special abilities to complicate your efforts. The cards don't seem to be the best quality, but overall, the game is easy to learn and quite a bit of fun.

Yes you should get it
1-star removed for poor box insert. If you're looking at getting this....just do it. This game is very fun and has a really great concept. Similiar to the video game Recettear you run an item shop and try to gain victory points by selling/equipping heroes who fight the boss monster for you. If they live and/or do damage you get points. This is one of those games where you just have to dive in and start playing to really appreciate the mechanics. I would like to see a better quality version with more expansions included released at some point.
