Awesome
Teased my players with a picture of the box and they're all intrigued. Can't wait to paint this up and put it on a table for game night! It looks fantastic already!

Too expensive for what you get
I thought that this mini was going to be quite a lot bigger. Should have looked more closely. $20 for a single tree is a bit much. Comes with some Vultures and 2 chained up minis to attach to the tree. For the price I just wish it had come with some more terrain. Would not recommend if you are trying to flesh our your game board.

Great design but a few issues to be addressed
The Bones Black: Tree of Despair terrain model is an excellent model that could be used in a variety of games from RPGs to miniature gaming. As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to add it to my terrain collection not only due to its unique design, but also the storylines and adventures it could be used for. If you are into horror gaming, this is a great piece of terrain to purchase. A few issues I have with the piece are due to the clean up I'll need to do before I paint it. Bones Black along with other Reaper minis often come assembled but seam lines are very evident. A little Milliput, Green Stuff, etc. can normally do the trick, but I still find it annoying that the final model isn't a bit cleaner. The vultures come in four different unique sculpts but each is very similar to the others. A few with open wings would've been nice. Finally, the two prisoners, one male and one female (both are only wearing loincloths if that is a concern for you) are hanging from ropes tied around their wrists but there is only one place on the tree that rope is wrapped around a branch. Also, if you want them hanging from the tree, you'll have to glue them in place, so no switching them around later. With some customization, I'm sure they could look good in a variety of places on the tree. The tree itself has several really cool features built into the sculpt my favorite being a large knot-hole in the back where something particularly nasty could be living. I also wish that Reaper, as well as pretty much every other miniature company, could make their pieces someplace other than China. I'd like to see my money going somewhere that doesn't abuse human rights or mishandle deadly diseases that cause global pandemics.

One of my favorites from Reaper
This thing is straight out of Conan the Barbarian! It is slightly smaller than I would like when compared with most other miniatures, but not enough that it is a problem. I love this piece and couldn't pass it up!

Nice model for the price
Nice model which I love has two options for the victims and vultures can be placed where ever you want. Perfect for a diorama piece.
