However, I did not know this feature: To play with this expansion, you must use the Caves variant of The Quest for El Dorado base game in which mountains are loaded with cave tokens. The game comes With German rules and English Rules. It seems that the translation about the caves variant does cause confusion, but a good search at BBG helps resolve the confusion. A nice touch is that it gives you suggestions to create your own maps.

If you're a fan of the quest for el dorado this expansion has plenty of great additions to increase replayability.
