Awesome, but not required.
You do not need this expansion to play the game! Game mechanics are not changed by this box. Having said that, I love the 3D tiles and I appreciate the extra space that has allowed me to compress all my TM expansions into the base box and this supplemental one. I would never recommend buying this for a game that never sees the table, but TM does make it to the table (a lot) and this just makes it more interesting when it does.

Worth the Expense
These are even better than I thought they would be! Wonderful look and feel and will really make for a more visually appealing game than just the flat tiles.
