A classic for a reason
A zippy, mean 2-player game with excruciating and simple decisions. Great game, if a little long.

Challenging but I like it.
I wanted to see what the hype is about. It's a good game with a lot of strategy. Quick play makes it easy to take out often.

Lost Cities, no longer hidden from history
A great little game for two. Easy to learn, plays in under an hour.

Catchy card game
The game does a great job of using card management to foster a sense of urgency. The game ends when the shared deck runs out. The game is good for teaching order of operations in math because of the scoring system.

Amazing fast paced 2 player game
This game is a lot of fun and it plays pretty quickly. The mechanism is very simple, play a card or discard a card. Then draw a card. But you'd be surprised how much you can strategize in this game.

We love this game. It's not hard to teach, it's fast-paced, and gets a lot of play in our house. The option to play with the 6th expedition is nice to have, though we've mostly stuck with 5. (Pro-tip: There's a score calculator online that makes some of the math much faster)

I needed a replacement because I wore it out
A favorite 2- person game that all 3 of my kids love. (That's a feat in and of itself.) Every time I teach someone the game, they immediately go out and buy it. Easy to learn. The only downside is the cards. They are much bigger than normal, making it hard to get sleeve protectors and they take up more space on the playing area. They are also on the flimsy side and will get torn up after extended use, which will necessitate getting the game again since you aren't supposed to know what card you're drawing from the deck (but I always know if it's a purple 8 because mine has a noticeable tear on bottom).
