Classic Fantasy is Wargames Atlantic's range of 28mm hard plastic sets covering the Classic Fantasy tropes of literature and role playing games. Sets in this range should appeal to both RPG players and tabletop wargamers.
Scattered throughout the kingdoms of Men are several halfling communities. Primarily people of the earth - farmers, millers, butchers, drovers - halflings nevertheless have to make their way in a world that can be fraught with dangers.
Over the centuries, they have grown their own class of warriors who work in close coordination in the face of the enemy. Sometimes these trained bands travel far afield to fight on behalf of Mannish kingdoms or in times of great peril even in the armies of the High Queen herself.
This box set allows you to build 40 Halfling Militiamen equipped with bow, sling, halberd, or pike and with options for full command.

Fantastic for a TON of Fantasy Games!
I love multi-part kits, and the Halfling Militia box did not disapoint. I play Kings of War, Oathmark, Frostgrave, and LOTR, and I really can't think of ways that I CAN'T use these in any of those games! There's a whole lot of Halflings in the box (you can build 40), so you can really go to town on building up a Shire force! Great stuff, and I love supporting a smaller miniature manufacturer. Wargames Atlantic is doing it right!

Halfling Militia Review
All the way back when I saw Wargames Atlantic halfling reviewed in a wargame magazine I thought it would be nice to have them. It's nice to see them offered for sale on this side of the pond. Out of the box, 40 halflings can be made all armed with medieval weapons. With multiple parts to make each halfling with you can give them a variety of armaments and poses to provide them with. And don't forget, that if you have a box of Darkage Irish Warriors your halflings will make great Lephercalns.

No better price
I have a couple of the Wargames Atlantic multi-part plastic kits and I love them. The Halfling Militia is among the best. The kit has tons of bits for customizing my models and costs way, way less than any other multi-part plastic kit I have ever seen. In this kit you spend less than $1 per model for a model that can be an archer, a pikeman, a spearman, a swordsman a musician or anything else really because the bits allow a lot of freedom to customize. Great product.
