Yes, you're stuck with the luck of the draw, but my experience has been that there were at least two great figures in every box -- things that expanded my set of figures or, now that I have this monster, I just have to create an encounter for it. And even the other two figures were good minions

Got an excellent Cloud and Hill giants with good detalis. The rest of the minis are good too

Love the concept but do I really need more stone giants. It seems to be the go to mini for most sets.

Always a long shot of getting the mini you want, but still fun to open and see what you get. Though, if you like big minis, you are more likely to get them in here.

Each box has one big and 4 small pieces. I have gotten awesome fire and hill giants, and lots of extra pieces for the campaign

These figures provide great bang for the buck. They're durable, reasonably well painted and look great all around.

Ordered this pack online to get giants, ended up with the only large/huge that isn't a giant (the winter wolf). Purchase this pack in store, not online so you can fell the weight of the package. The light ones have the winter wolf as the large in the pack, all others will have a giant of some kind

A lot of miniatures that are really nice, but some of them feel like you can really only use them for a Storm King’s Thunder campaign

This is the best deal you can get when talking about boosters, there are 14 huge minis (giants) that you can pull off and only 1 large miniature (winter wolf). The paint job on the giants are very good, but do not expect much on the medium/small minis, overall this is the best booster to get if you have to pick just one. Consider buying HEAVY boosters, light ones are definitely winter wolves, while the heavier ones have Hill Giants ($9-$10) or one of the Giant Lords ($21-$37) inside.
