D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W1 Bugbears

Huggy Wuggies with an axe or Morningstar.

It was the first time that I purchased minis from Miniature Market and I am really happy to have a found this site because these are good products. I recommend.

These mini have plenty of detail for their size. They come pre-primed and ready to paint right out of the package. They readily accept standard model paint, unlike some cheaper minis I have tried before. There is also a minimum of mold lines vs cheaper minis. What few lines there are, they were easy to remove with a razor knife. I would highly recommend these minis for painters of all skill levels.

Lots of interesting fine details. The mace was bent pretty badly in the box, which was probably a packaging issue and not the fault of Miniature Market or shipping. Nothing is broken though.

These miniatures capture the brutishness and size of the Bugbears well. Does not capture some of the slyer characteristics generally associated with Bugbears in 5e. These 2 miniatures are definitely coming in to brawl with your team and don't display the Ambush/Surprise attack element of the Bugbear class. Great detail on these mini's and when you drop these down on the map for your players to encounter, they will know that the battle prowess of these guys in hand-to-hand will definitely outclass the goblins and kobolds they've encountered so far.

Great pose, intricate detail, quite sturdy, and you get two of them.

Nolzur's minis are of excellent quality with lots of detail, for a reasonable price. My only gripe with them is that the pre-primed surface feels somewhat lackluster, but perhaps I didn't rinse them well enough before painting. They are great, and I can't wait to continue painting these wonderful minis.

Good figures. The one with the morning star came with a bent shaft to said Morningstar. This sort of thing really irks me. But overall I'd still have to reccomend.
