D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W1 Ghost & Banshee

Love the phasing effect on the grave stones.

They arrived in great condition, no damage to the packages. The models were clean and painted nicely.

These guys are super cool without paint - so great value! And they are perfect for Heroscape

These minis do a good job of capturing the images found in the 5e Monster Manual while not being exact replicas. They are unique looking and have lots of character to them. The only minor imperfections were a warped base on the banshee that I needed to reform with hot water and some primer on the underside of the ghost's transparent plastic. Neither of these issues bothered me but might annoy someone else. They took the inks I used well and look great when illuminated. A light dry-brush brought out their ghastly details and a generous dark wash helped make them look extra eery.

I’m looking forward to using this cool mini to terrify my players with incorporeal attacks.

Easy to paint and doesn't feel as fragile as some of my other minis.

Both of these minis are really great undead figures. Both have cool poses and a nice transparent, ghostly look. I’m playing the Curse of Strahd campaign right now, and I’ve used these more than once. I really like them.

They are excellent so close to monster manual art

It is unfortunate the banished photo is not included as she is the star of the set. I painted mine up with spoon effect. The translucent plastic is a nice touch. Just remember, less is more when using washes or inks on these. I mix my own... so i cannoy speak tol the premixed. But better to wash twice and it be too little than once and it be too much. The hell hounds look or awesome too.
