Up your TTRPG game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

These are ESSENTIAL to any TTRPG game. Even more-so then most character minis, these make game play smooth, assisting in keeping track of active spells and locations is made easy by these. That in addition to the fact that these minis are some of the better painted mini's I've seen. One or two of the flimsier portions of plastic are bent, but a little hot water and that can be taken care of. Highly recommend!

We've been using dice to represent spiritual weapons, mage hands and the like. Now we have something much better.

Best way to represent works is to use the actual spell. If you have characters that cast any of these regularly it's worth it

You don't need it but it's not bad

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

It's exactly what it says it is. I bought them and I'll never use them.

Can't wait to play with these!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I have represented spells and effects with dice, bullets, other mini's. I'm super excited to get some mileage from these!

A DM Must-Have

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I will buy D&D Spell Effects as long as they're made. Because of the solid simple color patterns, a LOT of detail/effort has gone into making these molds as perfect as possible. Each mini is stunning and the dyed transparent plastics give the spell effects the perfect look that a paint job likely couldn't. If you are a DM or player that likes to have a mini on hand for even the most obscure occasion, this set is a must-buy.

Excellent quality, right up there with the Kraken

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I have collected a lot of D&D minis over the years. My collection is easily in the triple digits... probably well into the quadruple digits by this point, really. I keep my eyes open for all the official pre-painted mini series releases, and I was very excited for these spell effects to be released. That said, I was also nervous that the quality would not be up to snuff... but i'm happy to report the exact opposite: the quality is up to snuff and then some. All of the pieces in this set are SOLID. When you pick them up, you can feel that telltale weight of a good mini. You collectors out there know what I'm talking about. Even though a number of the sculpts have thin features, none of them had any bending or deformities that are so common in such pieces. All the minis are sculpted from that cool transparent plastic, and the paint jobs are on point. The translucent spell effect is done very well. The set of Bigby hands are hilarious, and I can't wait to see them in action on the table. Never again will I use a Wil-o-wisp mini in place of a spiritual weapon. And Tenser's Floating Disc has a flat top, so you can actually carry things with it. This set is right up there with the Kraken exclusive. Read some of those reviews if you want an idea as to the caliber of the spell effects. Possibly the only non-positive thing I have to say is that these were harder to remove from the plastic than I expected. That's not even a complaint, just an observation. Here's hoping that the next set adheres to the same quality standards as these ones!
