Growing up, this Wardling always had the sharpest eyesight, which he honed to become the ultimate Ranger. He found his companion surrounded and fighting off twisted magical beasts. A few arrows expertly dispatched drove the beasts off. Ever since that fateful encounter, the pair have vowed to work together to help others beset by evil.
Wardlings was created with younger RPG players and their families in mind. The fledgling adventurers of these painted miniatures have a magical ability to see their animal companions, a trait of which only children are capable. Each adventurer will come pre-painted, fully assembled and packaged with their designated companion, who will assist them through thick and thin.

Recommended with caveat...
As with all Wardling minis, this is meant to portray a junior adventurer. The flavor text on the box makes it seem as though the Wardlings are pre-adolescents, and seem proportioned as such, but in terms of scale they're all about the same size as an adult from the other WizKids line(s). This one is a well-sculpted bow-wielding ranger, lightly armored and sneaking forward. The features are somewhat androgynous, so it could serve as a girl well enough. The wolf is oddly-colored and quite small. A pup, perhaps?

good minis for a ranger or rogue
nice to see more non-white minis that look decent. As with all the Wardlings minis they will work best as not fully grown humans or as halflings or gnomes

Really enjoyed this mini
Was running a solo campaign and used this set as option for a side kick. Player loved him and didn't want to use any of the other options. Really good details. The wardlings sets are lot of fun. I will purchase more.

My kids loved these characters and the artwork showed them what was possible.
