As the Realms gather for conflict, something new has arrived to change the balance of power. A hoard of ancient artifacts has been uncovered, each of which brings considerable power to alter the course of battle. However, each artifact also carries a curse which will shadow anyone foolish or greedy enough to wield its power.
The Cursed Hoard consists of two parts that can be added to the base game either separately or combined: a hoard of Cursed Item cards that forms a separate deck, and a set of three new suits representing new structures and inhabitants that are added to our base game deck.

If you like fantasy realms, you'll like this. It isn't revolutionary but it mixes up the game and gives some interesting things to think about

Fine expansion
This one is ok. We only play with it sometimes. It feels like the cards became diluted a little and the new mechanisms aren't as interesting as I had hoped.

Must Have Expansion
Excellent little expansion for an already great base game. If you feel that you already know the great combos for the base game, this game can rejuvenate your experience with new cards.

Great expansion
This is the best kind of expansion - one that adds more of what you already like without making big changes. I'm sure I'll just play with it mixed in every time from now on.

New cards for a great game
Adds cursed relics, some new suits and changes out some of the old cards. A much needed upgrade to shake up the normal play.

No scoring app
Fantasy Realms is a fantastic game because of the free scoring app for iOS and Android. Without that, it takes longer to score a game than it takes to play one. Unfortunately, the app hasn’t been updated to support the expansion. That means manual scoring which is a serious chore. I really dread the scoring so much that I won’t add in the expansion until the app gets updated. If they never update it, then I will have wasted the cash on this expansion because it will never get played.
