D&D Icons of the Realms: Wand of Orcus

Right, so the Icons of the Realms line of props has had a fairly good line with very little not being practical. From the Swords of Drizz't to the Eidolon Dice tower, this was something that I had pre-ordered back in November of 2021. When it's put together and on display, it LOOKS AMAZING. But don't think you're going to grab it off the wall and use it as a prop in a home game or LARPing. This is an expensive wall decoration. If you tend to buy this for any reason other than the above, don't bother.

I really enjoy the look of the wand. It's large and well-detailed. My 4 star comes from: 1. Some of the paint is chipped in areas of the foam. 2. Assembling the wand took great effort. The pieces did not want to lock together and required Vaseline to loosen the locking points. 3. While the eyes glowing look great, there is some paint splotch that obstructs part of the lights. Overall, it's a great product that I look forward having on display.

This is a review of the product, NOT Miniature Market. This product is horrible and cheap. Please NO ONE BUY THIS!!! It is mostly foam and cardboard, it wouldn’t even stay together to hang it, the head/eyes light up feature is not only ineffective, but it is janky the way it is put together. A chintzy battery pack held in with a random chunk of styrofoam. The head “screws on” to the handle, but the screws don’t go into anything at all. One screw went into some foam at least, the other three were just loose and didn’t screw into anything. So the head won’t even stay on. I wrote an email to WizKids for a refund but not reply yet. This is a MASSIVELY overpriced piece of garbage, so I truly hope no one else wastes their money. MAYBE it would be with $30, but even then, it doesn’t even hold together, so you’d still have to glue it if you want to display it. Just avoid it altogether unless you can get It for under $30, and really like to glue things together.

Looks really cool! Assembly is a bit flimsy putting the wand together. One section doesn't even feel like it fits nice. (yes, I made sure the red lines matched up.) Really wished it came as one piece than 3 pieces. Eyes glowing looks really awesome though!

I had long awaited this item since December, but what arrived it feels almost like a prop from a halloween store unfortunately. Its mostly made of hard foam which is brittle at certain parts which texture speaking makes it feel cheap. I was disappointed by the quality of this item.

Like it's super cool. But it's also made of like Styrofoam, so don't look too hard or it might crumble
