Hunt for the Ring is a game of hidden movement, deduction and adventure, faithfully recreating the initial chapters of The Lord of the Rings.
The game is a battle of wits and takes you upon a new journey across Middle-earth. One player must bring Frodo Baggins - the Ringbearer - and his hobbit friends from their home in the Shire to the sanctuary of Rivendell, where the fate of the One Ring will be decided. Using secrecy and the help of powerful allies, the Ringbearer must escape the chase of the NazgUl, the terrible Ringwraiths, controlled by up to four other players. The Ringwraith players work together to find Frodo and recover the Ring for their Dark Lord, while the Ringbearer secretly tracks his path first from Hobbiton to Bree, then from Bree to Rivendell, on a double-sided game board.
Created by the design team of the best-selling War of the Ring together with Gabriele Mari, Hunt for the Ring features amazing cover and character art by John Howe, seven highly-detailed miniatures sculpted by Bob Naismith, and a beautiful game board by Francesco Mattioli.

Beautiful Game
Great game that's beautiful. It's basically a hidden movement game, think Scotland yard. However, the theme lends itself so well to this mechanic as one player being the hobbits, is trying to hide from the other players who are the ring-wraiths. It's so good thematically and if you like hidden movement or Scotland yard, then you'll love this game. Check it out for you or your family.

Dripping with theme
The initial chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring are my favorite. The warm and comfortable Barliman Butterbur, Fatty Bolger, and the white-knuckle Flight to the Ford transport my imagination. This game also does that! It is a long game, yes. But in those two sections that make up a full game you will find more theme and tense gameplay than almost any other game you can find!
