Lost Ruins of Arnak: Expedition Leaders Expansion

This is the perfect expansion that adds variety to the core game without adding too many rules or making the game take longer. A player will choose one of six leaders with special powers and a unique starting deck. They are all relatively simple. Also, two new (more challenging) research tracks are included.

Vastly improves an already great game.

This expansion is a must have. The leaders are so much fun and this expansion ups the replayability.

A necessity when playing with the base game

Arnak should have come standard with asymmetrical characters and this expansion was just more variable powers. This is an essential buy for Arnak, especially if you are going to play solo - adds so much more replay potential.

I love a good bit of asymmetry and variety, and Expedition Leaders feels like it adds a fantastic layer of immersion and variability to an already great game. Feels super cool that each of the leaders has their own board and extra pieces. And, the new research tracks help mix up the race to the top. I love how it all easily integrates, too. Easy enough to pick and choose something different for every game.

This adds the missing piece that Arnak needed. It makes a great game even better.

This expansion made a good game even better. It adds verity, greater playability, more options during play, and generally more bang for the buck. For the price and what it adds, it's a no-brainer.

With the expansion the isometric value of each explorer is the main mechanic of it, however, it speed up the game to make it time affordable and more competitive between players. One of the most needed expansion for a game.
