Box Insert: Blood Rage & Expansions

Really clear instructions and great for Blood Rage and its kickstarter expansions. If you have the promo box than really recommend, especially if you painted the minis

I bought this due to owning other Folded Space inserts and it did not disappoint -- this insert fits the base game and Kickstarter promos box contents perfectly and all the minis feel secure in their respective places in the insert. HIGHLY recommend this and any of the Folded Space inserts for organizing games!

I usually like the look of the wooden inserts better. But these are lightweight, easy to assemble, economical, sturdy, and functional. I think they're always worth considering. And this Blood Rage one does a great job of nicely getting all of the components into one box. Recommend!

This is a great option to be able to fit everything into one box, including the Kickstarter promo items and sleeved cards. The only negatives are that you have to put it together first and if you have the thicker player boards from Kickstarter, the box lid won't close all the way and is lifted a bit.

I don't find this as good as the base game's mini storage, however, once you add any of the expansions you've outgrown the base game box. This allows me to keep everything in the same box with, what I truly believe, is a minor downgrade in protection of the mini's.

I wish there was a maybe option for the recommendation on this insert, but I believe Yes should cover the majority of the people who would purchase this. The Good: The assembly instructions were easy to read, as always, and I appreciate that about the Folded Space inserts. I also appreciate how lightweight they are when compared to the Broken Token insert. In fact, I actually bought this one to replace my Broken Token insert since it wasn't designed to fit the KS Gold Box promos from the last Kickstarter. Manages to fit everything from the promos into the main box, which is an accomplishment. The Neutral: As always, Folded Space claims their inserts can go together without glue, but I've never found that to be the case. I glue every piece together because the foam just doesn't ensure a tight fit. Like the Nemesis inserts I got previously, it's not terribly obvious what goes where and in what orientation. I had to play miniature tetris on almost every tray to get the minis to fit in a way that would allow them to seat properly and not stick out. This was especially true for the Gods tray which was WAY too small for the gold box promo minis. The box is obviously meant for horizontal storage the way it was designed. They say that the box top would have lift if you use the cardboard dashboards from the Kickstarter or Game Night box. That's obvious because there's lift even with just the regular core box dashboards. A little disappointing. The Bad: I honestly wouldn't shake this around much for fear of minis getting caught or smashing into each other. As mentioned before, the Gods expansion tray is packed tight and minis are rubbing against each other. It's not great. It seems the god cards were an afterthought because you just toss them on top of the tray before loading it down with the player dashboards to keep them in place. Seeing as how that tray is already packed to the brim, it's not a good solution. The card tray says it fits all the sleeved cards, but I can't see how that's the case. I have FFG sleeves on them and I can't fit all the cards in. All-in-all, it does the job, but it's not perfect. For people with JUST the base game, 5th player expansion, Gods and Mystics expansions, it will be fine (minus the card tray and sleeves, likely). For anyone with the Kickstarter promo box they advertise as fitting, it's a bit of a neutral recommendation.
