Patchwork

Product Review (submitted on September 4, 2015):
Patchwork is a 2-player game in which each player is buying quilt patches from the middle of the table to complete their quilt. It is a fun, very casual game that only takes about 20-25 min to play.
As most Mayfair games, the game comes with many pieces, all in good quality. There are many quilt patch shapes, much like tetris, and the main scoring board even has two sides that can be played to make the game longer or shorter.
One thing I really like about the game is that when the game is being set up, the patches are laid out randomly which can give the game a very different outcome each time it is played. Couple this with the dual sided game board, and the replay-ability is very high. The game mechanics are very simple and easy to learn. There isn't a ton of player interaction, but the game doesn't create a hostile environment like some games can with two players.
This game would be perfect for non-gamers to play very casually. The issue is the relatively high price tag for a game that only plays two people. The price makes sense when you see all the pieces and boards you get which is a great value, but it is hard to justify the price on a game that is limited by the number of players.
