Blood Rage

A tactical board game with drafting elements. Each of three rounds begins with drafting cards, upgrades, units, and quests. After drafting, players take turns summoning units, battling for control of the game board, and sending their dead to glorious Valhalla. The game could be very strategic except for the drafting mechanics, a strategy can quickly be unplayable due to lack of cards and other players can surge ahead with lucky deals. Players cannot reliably plan ahead and have to take everything turn by turn. It is a good game but lacks the real depth and planning that my group prefers.
