Wingspan (with Swift-Start Pack)

It's really fun!

Very enjoyable game! Made of nice high quality materials and even comes with a cute birdhouse for rolling dice in. Rules are easy to learn, especially using the swift start rules, yet has enough complexity and bird variety for every game to feel unique!

I started out liking Wingspan, but I initially gave it a 7 out of 10. After successive plays, my rating has increased to an 8, then a 9, and now it's a 10. It serves as a great introduction for new board gamers, and I haven't experienced negatives from anyone that I have played it with. It usually gets replayed after the first play. It's one of the top 3 games I've played all time. My son has started getting into the board game hobby, and I just gave him his copy for Christmas.

Extremely easy, but just as addicting. Every single game is different based on 170 birds with different powers.

Gameplay is smooth, components and art are both excellent. If you’re playing with new people it’s pretty easy to teach and learn.

It’s a BoardGame about birds. It’ the time of writing this it is all the rage and was hard to come by. It’s a pretty game and not too hard to learn. Components are top notch and gameplay seems smooth. A+

It took us (my wife and I) way too long to get this game and we are so happy we did! The art is amazing and while it is competitive, it is so relaxing and beautiful it doesn’t even feel like your competing.

Elegant game, beautifully crafted. The bird theme is very appealing. Offers interesting facts about birds, if you're so inclined to read them as you play. Complex game, with lots to think about as you work your way through each round. Opportunities to develop a game strategy, a variety of ways to gain points, but also an element of luck to keep you on your toes. The element of luck can help even the playing field for players of differing abilities. The Swift Start Park somehow didn’t make it easier for us to learn the game, so we moved on to playing with the entire set. The game design does take some getting used to because of its complexity and the way you approach the game board differently depending on what action you choose for each turn. As an older, less accomplished game player, I find this a bit disconcerting, but overall a very enjoyable game.

Winghaven is a nice casual machine building game where you get to play with cubes and dice and look at birds. Randomness exists but generally is minimized making wins generally feel deserved and losses not feel like you were cheated.
